Prof. (Dr.) A.B.M. Yunus is a distinguished clinical hematologist practicing in Sylhet and Dhaka. He holds an MBBS from India, an MPhil in Pathology with Honors, and an FCPS in Haematology. He completed a WHO Fellowship in Haemato-oncology in Singapore and a WHO Research Fellowship in Thailand, earning a Gold Medal for his academic excellence. He is a former Professor and Chairman of the Department of Haematology at Bangladesh Medical University (Ex. PG Hospital), where he mentored numerous specialists.
